WOW!!
That was fun….. kinda.
If you had told me a year ago everything that would come with starting my real estate career, I’m not sure I would have believed you! From learning the ins and outs of the business to helping people find a place to call home, this first year has been a little bit of everything. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it.
Getting into real estate has been one of the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding things I’ve done. There’s a lot more to this job than looking at pretty houses and posting cute pictures on Facebook. 😂 There are contracts, negotiations, inspections, deadlines, late-night texts, problem-solving, and about a million things happening behind the scenes that most people never see.
But there’s also the excitement of getting an offer accepted, the relief of making it through a tough negotiation, and the feeling of handing someone the keys to their new home. Those moments make all the busy days worth it.
One of my favorite parts of this year has been getting to work with people in the communities I know and love. Being from this area means so much to me, and I love getting to be a resource for people right here at home. Whether someone is buying their very first house, selling a home full of memories, or just asking questions because they’re thinking about making a move someday, I love being someone they can call.
This year has also taught me a LOT about myself. I’ve learned to trust myself, ask questions, figure things out as I go, and keep showing up even when I don’t have everything perfectly figured out. I’ve celebrated some really exciting wins, worked through some stressful moments, and learned something new with just about every transaction.
And let’s be honest, real estate keeps you on your toes. No two deals are the same, and sometimes the only plan is to take a deep breath, make a phone call, and figure out the next step. 😂
I’m especially thankful for the clients who trusted me with such a big part of their lives this year. Buying or selling a home is a BIG deal, and it means a lot that you chose me to be part of it. Every referral, kind message, social media share, and recommendation has helped me grow more than you probably realize.
I’m also so thankful for everyone who has encouraged me along the way. Starting something new can feel intimidating, especially when you’re building your name and figuring out your place in a competitive industry. Having people cheer you on makes a difference.
As I look back on my first year, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead. I have big goals, plenty left to learn, and so many ideas I can’t wait to bring to life.
If there’s one thing I hope people know about working with me, it’s that you don’t have to feel pressured, know all the answers, or have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you’re ready to buy or sell tomorrow or just curious about what your options look like, I’m always happy to talk it through with you.
